Slow data transfer via cross cable

Post by joriosje »

hello,

I have a TS-412 Qnap NAS and it's connected to my pc directly by a cross cable.
I have a fixed IP adres on my networkcard in the pc (192.168.2.98) and a fixed ip on my nas (192.168.2.100)
It always worked fine and normal speed but now i'm building a webshop local on my pc (soon online) but i want to backup it on daily basis to my nas.
I use the program cobian backup to generate a daily task to backup the data to my nas.
It's about 10GB of files but it takes average 20 hours to make a full backup.
so that is not normal so slowly.

anybody an idea how to fix it?
my lan card on my desktop is also gigabit

i always used it when to backup movies etc to my nas (100gb etc was no problem) but now the 10gb takes average 20hours...

thank you for your time!
