My network file transfer speeds seem to have dropped after an upgrade from QTS v4.5.2.1594(20210302) to v4.5.3.16 70(20210515).
Previously, on a 4-disk RAID 5, when transferring large files I would easily max out the 1Gb network connection and show about 112 MB/s in the Windows file transfer dialog. Even when the system was multi-tasking I could still get 70-90 MB/s.
However, now every single large transfer will see a couple seconds of around 112 MB/s and then it drops down to under 30 MB/s.
Once the transfer speed drops down the HDD chatter is noticeable. It's like the HDDs are fragmented or something.
Has anyone else seen this on v4.5.3.16?

I was just having issues myself with file copy from windows 10 having - absolutely woeful speeds over a 10Gbe link to my NAS (no issues from my Linux partition). In my case disabling AutoTuning caused my speeds to jump from between 30-70MB/s to almost 450-500MB/s simply using drag and drop.
From an elevated command prompt:
Disable:
Enable:
Worth a try ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
From an elevated command prompt:
Disable:
Code: Select all
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable
Code: Select all
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal
