It works perfectly to install it as a custom command in Winscp too. Would be awesome if someone would make a small util to insert custom winscp commands in windows context menu, that would save a lot of time.

In WinSCP go to View/Preferences/Commands and Add a new command, enter a description, type

Code: Select all

/opt/bin/unrar x "!"
as the command, make sure Remote command is checked, and save it. Exit preferences and enable the Custom Commands toolbar (from the view/toolbars menu) and you have your unrar button in that menu. Just select your archive and hit it. The interface freezes until the unrar is done, but it works flawlessly.
Oh, also make sure you have the unrar ipkg installed.

Don't know unrar/unzip normally take heavy uses of cpu don't know if it really suggested to use it (with large file) with something less then a core duo :)

personally i don't like the ideas to see the cpu of my has spike up at 100% and freeze up until finished
