Hi,
I would like to know if there's a possibility to get HTTP requests when motion was detected by the camera's connected to QNAP Surveillance Station.
Is there some kind of API available for the QNAP Surveillance Station software?
I would like to have:
- access to newly created videos based on a given date.
- get notification (by http request) when motion was detected.
- create a snapshot when I send a http request to QNAP NAS.
Is this possible?
I'm still trying to decide between Synology and QNAP.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Surveillance Station API?
Hello,
Didn't try it but you can add "custom" actions on specific event (like motion detection). Looks like what you search
And maybe you could find more reply here : https://www.qnap.com/solution/qvrpro-developer/en/

Re: Surveillance Station API?
Thank you, I tried this in the demo but this isn't possible there..
What I still cannot find is if the camera software notices movement, or does the camera let the software know there's movement?
