QVR Pro support for Hikvision CCTV DS-2CD2T45G0P-I?

Post by cralwalker »

When integrating a Hikvision camera in QVR Pro I hit a hurdle, I am not able to find my model in the drop-down menu.
I tried another model that had a similar model number but it was rejected.

What can I do next?

Open a call with Qnap and get the additional cameras plug-in. You can also try using a different model to see if that works.

Thank you @spile, that worked. The response from support on my ticket Q-202109-80457. "According to our camera compatibility list (https://www.qnap.com/en/compatibility-q ... =Hikvision ), so far we have never integrate this camera model so it won't list in QVR Pro. About your situation, please select the Generic RTSP or ONVIF configuration."

I applied the Generic Model and got the camera going. I did ask Homer, the QVR Pro expert support person when my camera will be integration tested.

Did it fail to work at all - or did you get the 'model mismatch' informational message?
If the latter - it can be ignored as it's not a fatal error.
TS-431+ for storage and media and a bunch of IP cams under Surveillance Station. TVS-473 as files backup and QVR Pro.

@AlastairStevenson, it failed to work at all. This camera only need to produce a stream, no smart events so I am okay with using an ONVIF S profile.
