I have a single Hikvision connected to the QNAP TS-453D. I observe losing the sound on my recordings after one, two days. Video is still recorded, even the triggers coming from the cam are marked. The cam itself does output video and sound (checked by direct connection to the cam's stream). But QVR doesn't compute the sound stream, even on the real time output window.
Only solution is to restart the entire QNAP NAS.
I configured a hires-video (stream 1) to be recorded on movement alerts and a low res permanent recording (stream 2). In the QVR Pro client one can observe a change in resolution if an event occurs. When sound recording stops suddenly no events had happened. It's just gone away (silence).
Is this a known bug? How can I help to find the root cause?
