In summary, the FTP server field must be the same for both cameras.
Yes, if I remember correctly (it's ages since I had any Foscam involvement) that's the 'event type'.
I'm surprised that method is still in use.

Thanks for your answer.
In my case SS setup did not change at all the configuration of the camera (maybe because previously I was using the FTP server for other stuff).
So, which are now your FTP settings?

After reading your message I tried to manually set the camera as follows:
- FTP server: ftp://<NAS IP address>/event00000001
- Port: 21
- FTP MODE: PASV
- Username: _nvrevtrpt0000 (I found this user name in other posts related to motion detection and SS, if I understood well _nvrevtrpt0000 is for channel 1 and _nvrevtrpt0001 is for channel 2)
- Password: _nvrevtrpt0000 (but probably this field is not really used)

And obviously I also set (on the Foscam C1) Record->Storage Location->Recording Location = FTP
(If I understood well it is not possible to trigger SS detection while storing to SD card instead of using FTP, right?)

In this way, this is something new, in SS log now I can read

- Motion detected on camera 1
- Motion stopped on camera 1

and an email is sent from SS (I configured SS to send email in case of detection), so now everything seems to work.

Are your camera settings similar to mine?

Thanks again,
Mr Hyde

P.S.: yes, I know: my English ** :-)

I'm not sure if this is a question for me - if so, I sold my Foscam camera on eBay quite some time ago, I moved on from them a while back.
You English is absolutely fine, no problems there!

Yes, I have the same settings as the ones you mentioned.

You might also want to confirm that the alarm recordings are indeed stored on the NAS, in the location you specified in SS.
