Getting IE 32bit to work on 64bit Windows

Post by Turtle »

Hi,

I have just come back to Surveillance Station after a long break and I cannot get the web admin page to run [http://x.x.x.x:8080/cgi-bin/_enter.cgi]
I am running the IE from the Program Files (x86) folder and I have Enable Enhanced Protected Mode un-checked. No matter what I try I cannot get it to work.

What happens if it does "not work" ... error screens, black screen, exploding screen ?

What firmware version running of QNAP ? What Surveillance Station Version running ?

The NAS is a TS219 running fw 3.8.3 Build 20130426.
The web page displays the starting message, saying if this is the first time it may take a while. Stays on this screen regardless of how long I wait.

that is pretty old firmware...update to at least 4.2.x (4.3.3 has some issues on kirkwood devices)

Read you comment too late, just upgraded to 4.3.3 Build 20170703.

After I get things set up again I will try the Surveillance Station again and report back.
