Surveillance Station started rapid login/logout from cameras

Post by sundaeman »

The old Panasonic BL-C131 camera continues to keep plugging away, however...

All the Amcrest cameras are IP2M-841B with most current Amcrest firmware, which have been working until recently. Occasionally there would be connection issues and a reboot of the TS-453a and/or the cameras in question did the trick. Sometimes it took about 20+ minutes for the cameras to come up after a reboot.

However reboot does not seem to be working now. I even tried a hard reset and reconfiguration on one of the cameras with no success. I have also tried dropping resolution and frame rates. Also tried to giving the Qnaps username more privileges.

Test in the Camera Edit/Configuration screen gives a failed to create RTSP connection.. RTSP port matches and there are no options for RTSP name.

Each camera log shows Surveillance Station constant login/logout activity for the qnap username 1-2 login/logouts per second.

Surveillance Station is version 5.1.1.4.3

Suggestions appreciated and I have logged a ticket with support.

Thanks. -Joel

Thank you, guess I didn't ask the search engines the right way.

I've been playing with ONVIF for the last hour or so. Got some of them "working" with that.

Guess I'll be rolling back the firmware on the Amcrests.

I updated them back in July, odd they all failed last night. But then again they've been flaky.

Funny thing is that old Panasonic just keeps chugging along.
