getting error "connection failed. the ip address is invalid" with ts-451 and tp-link nc450

I am having trouble connecting to my tp-link NC450 through surveillance station.

I have updated surveillance station on my TS-451 and the firmware on my NC450.

I have the compression settings set the same, checked the username and password and checked the ip address and ports.

Here is a photo of the settings:

I can connect to the camera just fine through the browser using 10.0.0.25 and the login information I am using on the surveillance station page.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

same camera, same NAS, same problem...did you find a solution?

Is the camera on QNAP's compatibility list? Have you opened a helpdesk ticket with QNAP?

Hi Guys,

Saw this and sadly I have to bump it. I have TS251+ and TP-Link NC450 and while configuring I can see the preview but sadly once I am out of it I see

Status: Connecting
Recording Status : Not Recording

Did anyone managed to check this?

D-LInk works rightaway on similar settings.

It is approved.
Are u running 5.1.1.3(4).3.20170428 SS and camera has 1.2.3 Build 170316 Rel.D60AD9 firmware?
