Hi,
I want to control my SS automatically. So f.e. to start recording when the light in der garage will be turned on. I use ioBroker for scripting, but how I can control the SS? I've found an API-definition for Surveillance Station for Synology (https://global.download.synology.com/do ... operGuide/) but nothing for QNAP.
I use a FOSCAM FI9805W
I'll be happy if someone could help me.
Thank you,
MyDepp.

This is not the QNAP Team, this is the Community Forum.Qnap team, you are kindly requested to inform us, thank you.
You could ask QNAP the question this way : https://helpdesk.qnap.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit
TS-431+ for storage and media and a bunch of IP cams under Surveillance Station. TVS-473 as files backup and QVR Pro.

Re: Surveillance Station Web API for QNAP?
Hello AlastairStevenson,
My client and I gave up with QNAP SS, it's not adapted for our kind of project, i'm finally going to do a dedicated system (with NodeJS) and it's better in all cases.
QNAP is for home usage only: the system, the API and the documentation are badly poor about camera surveillance, clearly not for professional usage.
Thank you for the answer.

From the looks today's video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJ3SC2N ... re=em-lbrm
QNAP is going to have an API available with QVR Pro when it launches in 2018.
I know this doesn't actually answer your question about Surveillance Station, but it looks like it's the direction they are going in for the future.

Re: Surveillance Station Web API for QNAP?
Did someone noticed any information about built-in motion detection for cameras that does not support motion detection? Like it has Synology, it works great...
