I have tried to setup a IPC-HDW4431EM-AS (Firmware 2.460.0000.7.R, Build Date: 2017-03-06)
http://www1.dahuasecurity.com/products/ ... -3731.html
It is on the official compatibility list ( NOTE: Surveillance Station Version 5.1.1.3(4).4.20170703 )
https://www.qnap.com/en-au/compatibilit ... rand=Dahua
I have Surveillance Station version 5.1.1.4.3 (2017/06/01)
So i must need to update... however no way to update in the app store, so i do a little digging, after 90 Mins of searching the Forums, the App store and allover the internet i cannot find the said Surveillance Station Version 5.1.1.3(4).4.20170703.... or any reference to it... not even in QNAP official change log https://www.qnap.com/en-au/app_releasen ... nceStation
Not even if i search for Beta firmware...
So i attempted to use what was available to me in the 'camera configuration' tab, under 'camera model:' IPC-HDW4431C-A is obviously it says Miss matched version when i select to install however if i ignore that it seems to work... kinda...
BUT the problem is the settings... if i change the sound (i need to change from 8k to 42k so its not so garbled) or enable the substream settings they work and sound great but the QNAP Surveillance Station changes them back within 30 seconds...
SO i Need your Help guys!!
Is there a way to get this to work where it either leaves the camera settings alone?
or maybe a way that update to the supported version?
Model:TVS-871
Current firmware version:4.3.3.0299
Thanks
Scotty

Raise a support ticket and they will send you a link to the latest software version (see my recent post). They were very fast to reply. Not sure about over the weekend though. You may have a different issue but it looks like a simple software version issue.
