Dears,
After updating my firmware to QTS 4.2.6 build 20171026, process “nvrd” (Surveillance Station) continuously keeps on re-launching. This causes an unacceptable high seize on the RAM-size. After disabling the Surveillance Station the issue was solved.
Anyone else having this issue? cheers

Re: QTS 4.2.6 (20171026) - re-launch [nvrd]
Hi,
I have same problem.
My configuration is TS-459pro 4.2.6, Surveillance Station V5.1.1.3.3.
After rebooting the NAS is working normally, but 4 hours later "Re-launch process [nvrd]" returns over and over again. Finally the NAS is shutting down.
Any working solution?
thanks

It would be helpful to all affected to start a dialogue with QNAP on the problem so they can understand it and fix it for the benefit of others : https://helpdesk.qnap.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submiti got the exactly the same problem on my TS-269H

TS-431+ for storage and media and a bunch of IP cams under Surveillance Station. TVS-473 as files backup and QVR Pro.

how, there is no rollback option and the qnap download centre only offers downloading the newest versionsquallelf wrote:i got the exactly the same problem on my TS-269H

tried this already, issue still existsJDH wrote:Upgrade to the latest FW and the problem solved.
rollback seems to be only option but qnap does not make the package available, only the newest

the fact that qnap releases broken software and does not give access to previous packages is retardedcharette wrote:how, there is no rollback option and the qnap download centre only offers downloading the newest versionsquallelf wrote:i got the exactly the same problem on my TS-269H

i figured out a workarround
i extracted the download address for 5.1.1.3(4).4
and then just changed it to .3 instead and kept guessing dates in the filename until it worked
FYI the .3 package is 20170601
i should not have to do this
