I am new to QNAP NAS products.
The change log for Surveillance Station says the latest version is 5.1.1.4.4 released on 2017/11/8. The current Surveillance Station download is still 5.1.1.4.3 (2017/6/13).
Does QVR Pro and client replace Surveillance Station?
Current Version, 5.1.1.4.4 or 5.1.1.4.3 ? Does QVR Pro replace Surveillance Station?

Hi mseirgol
The surveillance station still is updated.
We will release it before the mid of Feb.
QVR Pro & Surveillance Station are different product.
You could try to use QVR Pro, it has 8ch channel supported.
Thanks

I have same question,
I have TS451+ with 4.3.4.0435 firmware.
Surveillance station station says its 5.1.1.4.3 but in app centre says latest version is 5.1.1.4.4.
Surveillance station will not open when I click the open button. QVR Client also fails to connect as does VMobile from my iPhone
I have installed QVR Pro on my NAS and also the QVRPro Client on my MacBook. This works as expected.
However I like to be able to view my cameras when away from home on my iPhone. I only have two cameras so the Surveillance station was ideal.
I have tried to re0install surveillance station but this didn't work either.
Surveillance station and Mobile did work prior to updating to the current firmware

I got surveillance station and the Mobile app working again. A reboot of my NAS seemed to have resolved the issue.

"However I like to be able to view my cameras when away from home on my iPhone". Safest way to view you cameras on WAN is over a vpn, saves opening ports.

Qmonitor (QVR Client) allows you to view SS and NVR based cameras.
QVR Pro client allows you to view QVR cameras only.

Confusing isn't it.
