Any Face detection solutions for cctv on qnap?

Just investigating.

do any apps have face detection features?
Goal is we have CCTV pictures of theives, want to search against our back catalogue of cctv pictures to see if its person known to us

I am aware photo sation 5 does, however were running 3 x TS-420U which dosent support the media affin as its not a x86 processor

You aren't going to get anything along those lines on the older TS-420U hardware.

I believe there has been some talk of that feature potentially coming in the future to say QVR Pro (not sure if would be an uncharge add-on or not).

Dahua software supplied with their cameras have a face detection feature but I don't believe this works with QVR Pro

I know that Qvis cameras support face detection with a black list of faces, you have to use one of their NVRs which also support RAID and NAS.

New camera model and no qnap NAS involved....sure its not spam you post?

Dahua, Hikvision also supports AI including face detection and QNAP NAS compatible with these. Just sharing from experience.
