EZVIZ Camera Compatibility

Post by rickorford »

Hi,
I have an EZVIZ C6TC camera.

At the moment, I *can* get it to connect/record by using the "Generic camera" brand, and putting in RTSP/user/pass. Problem is, I cannot select alarm based recording (its grey'd out, see attached).

Thoughts?

A couple of things you could try -
Try other Hikvision models, and ignore the 'model name mismatch' diagnostic.
Also try connecting it as an ONVIF camera, if that model supports it.
TS-431+ for storage and media and a bunch of IP cams under Surveillance Station. TVS-473 as files backup and QVR Pro.

Hi guys.
I have some EzViz surveillance camera: EzViz EzCube Pro (CS-CV206 model) and EzViz Ez360 (CS-CV246 model).
Before to buy a Qnap Nas to record their surveillance streams, I would like to understand if they are compatible with Qnap Surveillance Monitor system.
I want only to record 24/7 stream, without motion detection, I don't need this.
Can you please help me?

Thanks a lot.

How did you get in the EZVIZ camera running in your Surveillance Station? I have the correct RSTP stream and I can see it when I play it in VLC media player but it won't show anything on the Qnap.

Similarly I cannot see the EZVIZ (DB1) via surveillance monitor. I can see via VLC. Any advice?

Is it listed in the compatibility plugin pack? If not I would try a few different models that have the same spec as the one you are using. Assuming you are using QVR Pro.

I have problem to connect to the cam as I don't know what user and pass I have to use: I tryed with nas or network but always I have a message of error for incorrect user/pass, any glue, thanks
I had it working before, but I had to change something to the nas and now I don't remember what I used

Ok, I found it:

the password is the verification code of the camera
