camera recommendation

Post by zrh786 »

hi i have a TS-251 and am struggling to find a camera which i can get to work

i need the following specifications:
- needs to be a spy cam that can be unnoticed
- can pick up sound
- works with qnap motion detection
- less than or around £100/$100

i have tried the below cameras and can not configure to above requirements:
1) https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07 ... UTF8&psc=1
2) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WIFI-Spy-Cam ... 2749.l2649

number 1 above i can not connect at all
number 2 above i can connect using ONVIF fixed camera settings - but does not allow me the change the settings to allow motion detection

yes qvr pro
the compatibility list doesnt have the option to search for a spy camera like the ones listed above
is there a generic camera specification i can search amazon for which makes the camera work? (in terms of compatibility with qnap)

but if they are in a location on your premises (breaking and entering) then wouldn't a normal cam work? maybe as soon as they enter the room where your pc resides the cam will trigger. the recording goes to your NAS, stored offsite, so he doesn't get the chance to trash that, since the footage is stored on it.

if it's offsite hacking, i doubt a cam of any sort will help with that.

we don't normally comment on such devices that are easily abused. you can check on youtube yourself for such things. but whether they are compatible with a qnap is anyones guess. the compability list is usually for NORMAL ipcams :}

..also the compatibility list doesnt allow searching for spy cams specifically which means an impossible task searching thru 100's cameras...
