Run QVR Pro and Surveillence Station Side by Side

Post by blah76767 »

I am looking to test QVR Pro on my TVS-471, along with the QVR Pro Client, for Windows.

Is it possible to install the QVR Pro App on my NAS, even though surveillence staion is installed and running, and be able to access the client on windows?

Would i need to set up another storage pool for QVR Pro, seperate from my surveillence staion pool?

Nothing in the software prevents you from doing this. There is no need for another storage pool either as both software can allocate their storage within the same pool.
The only limitation is your CPU usage and storage pool size which you need to have size big enough for your needs. I personally run both at the same time.

I ran them side by side on a TS=251+ for months with no issues.
