advice on IR illumination

Post by Beemer2 »

I have a problem where it appears that the IR illumination of my Dahua cameras illuminating the camera mount wall is resulting in the main area of interest being severely underexposed. How best can I correct this?

The best way is to orient the camera such that the bright wall is not in the field of view.

Yes I realised that and did try turning the camera 90 degrees. However I cannot find a way to get QVR Pro to rotate that same 90 degrees to view the image upright.

I was thinking of a pan and tilt movement as opposed to a rotate.
