QNAP NAS Community Forum

QVR pro has been working very well with my 3 cameras. Until recently, I bought another camera and have it added in QVR pro, an then all channels started blinking irregularly. Initially, I thought it might be a resource problem with bandwidth, IO, CPU and ram usage etc. and I actively monitored the difference before and after adding the camera. In the end, I don't see any significant uptick in all area that would cause all channels to blink. After that, I tried reinstalling QVR pro, add the new camera first and also the other 3 old cameras one by one. Again, the same problem occurs after adding the 4th one. For now, my current workaround is to have the 4th camera on surveillance station while the other 3 on QVR pro, but then it means I always need to be switching apps when I need to look at the 4th channel.

Has anyone experienced the same situation? Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot the problem? or I simply just need a more powerful NAS? Thanks!

Firmware version: 6.3.6.0979
RAM: 8GB
Cameras: 3 Foscam, 1 Amcrest

I have the same problem with a 6 camera setup. Worked absolutely fine until around 4 months ago then started blinking. If you get any more information on this then please post back here. Cheers

No, YKSYUI contacted support I was hanging on to see what they advised him.

apparently he abandoned this thread..so you need to open a ticket as well
