Hello everyone,

We will release QVR Pro 1.3.0 at Sep. 2019.
Currently, you could try the beta version to use the new feature firstly.

Before you to install QVR Pro 1.3.0 beta, please be aware of:
1. QVR Pro needs Container Station, if you never install QVR Pro, please install Container Station first.
2. Please do not use the beta version at your official environment.
3. Please report the issue at https://service.qnap.com/en/user/create-ticket while you discover the abnormal situation, and attach the ticket number to here.
4. If you want to downgrade to 1.2.1.5, the URL is at below.
5. If 1.3.0 works will, please leave a comment then we could know it.

1.3.0 Major Feature

• Start to provide multiple Recording Backup at Recording Storage, in terms of channels, scheduling, or to remote storage devices...etc.

• Able to set the maximum recording length of a single file in the Recording File Explorer.

• Able to set the capture mode in the Camera Settings of the QVR Pro.

• Able to make camera rotation in the Camera Settings of the QVR Pro.

• The default setting of “Use Recording File Explorer to access recordings” has become “on”

• Generic RTSP models support audio recording.

1.3.0 Change

• The name of each rule created, since QVR Pro 1.3.0, needs to be unique.

• The format of Dates in several places, such as Event Management, Motion Detection, and Metadata Vault, will be the same as the format of the QTS.

After fresh install of 1.3 Beta, I am unable to open Recording Storage or Camera Settings. The windows are stuck loading (spinning round and round) at the the top bar.

Installed 1.3 on an existing configuration with 5 cameras and is working fine.

I can confirm that the Generic RTSP audio recording is working great!

I have 4 Samsung SmartCam HD snh-p6410bn and 1 Samsung Smart Pan&Tilt SNH-V6410PN working with Generic RTSP profile with audio recording.

I have reverted back to surveillance station due to the following issues with QVRPro. Perhaps this could be raised with your developers.

QVR Pro client, flashing cameras. Does not happen on recordings, only when viewing the live stream through QVR pro client on iOS and Android. Camera footage flickers every few seconds. Does not happen with Survilence station.

QVR pro client android/iOS no way to play back ALL motion events Like you can within Vmobile. This is a very useful feature if you don’t know a time to look at and wish to review the past 24hrs motion recordings. Also there is no option in QVR pro client app to increase the playback speed so that you can quickly scan through motion footage. Once these features have been included I will revert back to QVR pro. But at this time I do not feel it is a product I can use for my needs. I hope Qnap address this soon as I really do like QVR Pro.

Using Foscam cameras, one of the models is FI9928P. Version of app is 1.6.0.190817. QVR pro version 1.2.15. QVR Gold subscription.

Try to use QVR Pro 1.3.0.0 (2019/08/06) with Trendnet TV-IP313PI + App Windows 1.3.0.19215 2019/08/03.

Work before ugrade when i configure the camera like a TV-IP310PI, but with single stream.

After upgrade, work again if i keep TV-IP310PI configuration, but fail to connect if i switch the camera type to TV-IP313PI (my camera type).

On camera Settings in QVR PRo :
Status : connecting
Recording settings :
* Stream1 : Recording Stopped (No connection)
* Stream2 : Recording Stopped (No connection)

Try to test connection in "Edit", and it's ok (green mark).

If i can provide more info, thanks to ask me (with the howto !)

PS : work well with the other TV-IP310PI i have.

Try 1:
After upgrading from 1.2.1.5, I am unable to open Recording Storage or Camera Settings. The apps hang while loading, spinning on the the top bar. Also, the Event Management app shows several errors and does not show all my configured settings when opened. The Motion Detection app shows an empty window instead of the per-camera detection and rules configuration.

Try 2:
After upgrading to 1.3 Beta from 1.2.1.5 with CameraPack 1.5.0 installed, all apps work correctly except QVR does not receive any events when using a correct (newer) camera model configuration:
- My camera model is Amcrest IP8M-T2499E, and selecting this setting causes event alerting and recording to stop. No event trigger times are listed/updated
- Using the configuration for model Amcrest IP8M-2493E and ignoring yellow test response for incorrect model, all camera functionality works even though the 2499 is missing sound and alarm output.
- Recovering the event functionality requires setting the model back to -2493E then rebooting
- This behaviour also exists on 1.2.1.5+CamPack1.5 so perhaps the internal driver settings are at fault for the motion bug

Latest update (1.3.0.0) from app center completely crashed my qvr pro. It won't even start and gives me some kind of SSD raid error. Sweet....

PS. Creating a ticket is a long process. No thanks.

Same here - QVR Pro will not start because it does not detect that it is on an SSD Raid group. Ticket #Q-201909-27217
