Hikvision DS-2CD2365G1-I QVR Pro question

Running QVR Pro 1.2 version 1.2.1.5 (20190729)
Would like to add the following Hikvision cameras:
DS-2CD2365G1-I f/w v5.5.83 (190221) - I haven't updated this one yet in case it matters
DS-2CD2385G1-I f/w v5.6.2 (190701) - latest available
Both cameras are showing on the Qnap QVR Pro Compatibility list on the Qnap website which is encouraging.
I've tried to add via normal camera discovery but they don't show up.
I've tried to add manually but these particular models don't show up in the drop down list within QVR Pro
Following the excellent advice on this and other Forums I've made progress by:
On the Camera:
Enable ONVIF
Add a User Name with a Password, set to Level=Media user
Enable Hikvision-CGI, set to digest/basic
These camera settings allow a QVR Pro scan for the cameras to be discovered.
In QVR Pro:
Camera Settings: Selecting Brand=Generic Model, Camera Model=Generic RTSP, set the Port to match the HTTP Port on the camera, leave RTSP URL blank, set the Account and Password to match that set on the Camera
The above steps all finally achieved connectivity however it doesn't feel as though this is the optimum setup for these cameras.
I have to admit I'm a bit of a novice at this and am extremely grateful to the advice of others on this and other related Forums to achieve at least a starting camera connection.
Could those with a better understanding of QVR Pro/Hikvision cameras comment on this setup and advise on what I should change to improve the overall functionality.
As mentioned above neither of these cameras appear in the Camera Settings Manual setup by selecting Hikvision brand and looking for the specific model - is this an update that Qnap need to undertake within QVR Pro or some online database?
Thank you on advance for any contribution and advice.
