I have set up a single cam to do event-based recording using QVR Pro. However, it wants to allocate a huge amount of storage space (1.3 TB) when I need only a tiny fraction of that much space. There is no obvious way to control the size of the recording storage space.
I'd like to delete this space and set up something much smaller but I have so far been unable to do that. Thanks!

The usual method is to create a volume of the size that you want and allocate that as the storage space.There is no obvious way to control the size of the recording storage space.
It sounds like maybe your NAS isn't using the LVM logical volume manager capability.
TS-431+ for storage and media and a bunch of IP cams under Surveillance Station. TVS-473 as files backup and QVR Pro.
