Unable to add Generic ONVIF or RTSP camera in QVR Pro

Post by kashif789us »

Hi. I have a cheap Chinese Camera which supports ONVIF and RTSP. It's not in QNAP's compatible list, so, their official support is not helping me out.

When I search it in QVR Pro it shows up as ONVIF camera. On the next page when I enter it's username and password after entering ports and press test, it shows a green tick. But after setting all this up, when I go to the camera list, it does not show anything and shows error "Connection Error".

I have also tried manually adding it as Generic ONVIF and Generic RTSP. Both shows green tick when I press the test button, but same connection error is thrown later.

I have Googled about it but could not find anything. I am able to successfully view RTSP stream on VLC.

I am generating RTSP stream link from this website: https://www.ispyconnect.com/camera/v380

Each of the link is working fine on VLC.

Can I do anything to make it run on QVR Pro?

Do you have the additional cameras plugin available from Qnap support?

Then I would open a call and ask for it.
