Hi,
can anybody give a hint oder help me to get my cams connectet to QVRPro?
I have a NVR Cam-Set from "Tonton" with 6-cams and a NVR Station
Now i want to change to QVRPro but it seems, that my cams aren't supported.
When i choose "generic jpeg" i get a postitive test icon, but the cams can't esteblish a connection...
(web service with browser works, but without image beacause they want flash player for image view)
any ideas ?`

Re: Can't connect my Tonton i-8CH cams to QVRPro
Edit:
Meanwhile TontonSolutions wrote to me:
"Sorry that Tonton is not supported by QNAP QVRPro. The manufacturer is juanvision"
There's a Cameramodel from "Juan", but it didn't work.
When i choose Generic, sometimes i get a preview picture an a green checksymbol. But when i accept the settings mostly it says "can't connect",
but sometimes it works for a few seconds.
Is there anyway to connect my camera, when my cameras are not explicit supported by QVR ?

Is there a software to "read" unknown cams ?

ONVIF Device Manager should provide quite a lot of useful info for juanvision-firmware-based cameras.
Check the detail under the Live Video screen.
Of particular use would be the RTSP string if you need to connect the camera as a Generic RTSP device.
Plus you can check the 'Events' to see if the ONVIF implementation would send motion events if the camera was connected as an ONVIF device.

TS-431+ for storage and media and a bunch of IP cams under Surveillance Station. TVS-473 as files backup and QVR Pro.
