TS-209 and D-Link DCS-5220

Post by thunderace1k »

Hi.

I just installed that camera at a customer, based on the fact it is supported by the 3.1 firmware.

I can have all functions working, but no recording is made.

Does someone has an idea on how to solve that problem?

Thank you!

No specific experience with this camera - some cameras require to be accessed using a privileged account, typical "view-only" accounts sometimes do not work.

From the DCS-5220 we see it is primary MPEG4, if there is a selection to alternate video stream formats, configure it to MPEG4.

Thanks for your reply, Kurt.

I've noticed that the folder Qrecordings does not exists in the shares and I think that coud cause the problem.

I've created it manually, but no success.

If I use the option "restore default shares", will I loose the other folders created for that customer and the contents of the shared ones?

Thanks again for your attention.
