surveillance station motion sensing defect

Post by drsalomon »

Hello,
I have both a vivotek 7135 and dlink DCs5300. the dlink works fine with motion sensing and records lots of content. The vivotek hardly records any motion sensing content. I know that the motion sensor on the vivotek is triggering because it sends me frequent emails directly from the camera anytime someone enters the room. Surveillance station only records a handful of motion triggered events each day but I Know the camera is triggering hundreds of times a day because I receive hundreds of motion sensing emails. What should I do? why does surveillance station miss so many of the motion sensing events?
