When I look in /mnt/ext/usr/msb I don''t see the Y-cam drivers (inf and so)
the y-cam is not selectable from ss camera list.
Please help me out with finding the the drivers. I also tried to extract the .img files but without succes.
my firmware is 3.2.5 build 0409T (running on a ts410)

Thanks for any help

I don't have a Y-Cam camera, but I've just upgraded my firmware and can confirm that I can't see any Y-Cam cameras mentioned in the camera setup of Surveilance Station in either the 3.2.4 or 3.2.5 release.

Same problem here on the same build - very frustrating as I went out and bought a Y-Cam Knight specifically because it was listed on the QNAP Product website as being compatible with Surveillance Station on the TS-410 :-(. Hopefully some kind soul will make a suitable driver available shortly.

I tried every other camera model in the drop-down list just to see if any of them would work anyway, but no joy. It's a shame these devices don't all confirm to a more generic IP camera protocol.

Has there been any response from QNAP on this - the advertising is very misleading on this point and should be corrected.

I haven't raised it with QNAP as I have a Panasonic BL-C131. I'd recommend raising a support ticket with their help desk and seeing that they say.

Hold the presses. QNAP have just released firmware 3.2.6 build 0427 for the TS-410 which includes support for generic Y-Cam (versions 1 and 2).

I've just installed it and can confirm that it does support the Y-Cam Knight (version 2) running the latest firmware (EN_V3.25B20100225) :-). There are still some limitations - Liveview doesn't work over an SSL connection, and there is a reported bug around changing Liveview channels on the Y-Cam Generic V2.

FYI the list of cameras now listed as supported in the drop-down list on the Surveilance Station Settings page is as follows:
