Hello,
I am having an issue that I cannot seem to resolve. I don't know why.
I have created my share on my NAS, I am able to access it from Windows Explorer, I can create and delete files / folders from it no problem.
When I use Hyper-V to try and create a virtual machine I always get this error "Failed to create external configuration store at Z:\VMs\New Virtual Machine General Access is Denied Error (0x80070005)"
I tried elevating the SMB from lowest version 1.0 to 2.0 and I even went as far as going to 3.0 but it does not work.
I also tried to create the VM on my desktop (which creates fine) and then import it to the NAS share which also gives me the same error.
I am a little confused as to why it doesn't work can someone help me?
Thanks
