As the title suggests, Norton Security recognizes the Qsync update as a threat and blocks it.
Also after installing it, the process is blocked by the firewall because a valid signature is missing.

Re: Qsync Update 5.0.7.1122 recognized as threat and blocked by Norton
In Norton firewall settings you can configure applications and if they allowed or not.
Did you do that?
Regards
Edit: I did the update some minutes ago.
When update was announced, no block or message from Norton raises.
When first starting after the update Norton reports an unsecure app and asks how to proceed: "allows always or block".
I choosed "allow always", by every next startup no more message raises.
So my guess: you did not add an exception in Norton firewall.

Re: Qsync Update 5.0.7.1122 recognized as threat and blocked by Norton
Thanks, before activating the firewall exception, I wanted to understand if it had happened to others.
I know how to set up Norton, but wanted to find out if it was a known issue and if it would be fixed in a later update.
And I'm wondering: why does norton flag the program as unsafe twice?

Re: Qsync Update 5.0.7.1122 recognized as threat and blocked by Norton
My guess:
1st: the download
2nd: service start
I created the exception years ago and cant remember that I need to re-new this for following (Qsync) updates.
Today it was the first time.
So you need to ask Norton, why this issue occurs. Norton is updated much more often than Qsync.
