Re: Domain users suddenly cannot access shares
Bump.
I Have same problem. First couldn't map shared folder and after few hours fight it worked. After night some users couldn't open mapped folder and I had to remap them with some problems. All shared folders mapping with domain credentials.

Re: Domain users suddenly cannot access shares
Noticed this today after upgrading the firmware to 4.4.1.1117; The logins are fine (e.g. are not deactivated due to false credentials). While checking some configurations mentioned here in this (old) thread I found, that the Samba (SMB) Settings were different then I remember them to be. After resetting them to SMB 2.1 min and SMB 3 max the shares could be accessed once again without any trouble. Of course this goes for Windows 7 / 2008 R2 and above only.
Seems to me that the Upgrade had reset the SMB-settings and you need to reconfigure them under Control-Panel / Network & File Services / Win/Mac/NFS / Microsoft Networking / Advanced Options / Highest and Lowest SMB version.
