File Already In Use

Hi! I have a Ts-259pro which until recently was working just fine.

I have an old Win XP machine running software for a HP Scanjet 5000. I have a number of profiles setup so that when it is used the destination of the scanned files is a share on the QNAP device. I'm not sure what has changed but in the last couple of weeks whilst the files have been saved to the network share, they are not accesible. Every time I try to access them I get an error stating that the file is already in use in other program. the only way I can access the files is to reboot the win xp pc and then the files are accessible from any location.

I realise this might indicate a problem with the scanning software (or the PC its running on) but this has been setup and running like this (quite literally) for years and the software has not been updated!
