Limited User has Unlimited File access
I have searched and searched but have not found an answer. I have given limited access to User-A within our network to the NAS folders. User B has the same limited access. User B's access limits work fine. User A is able to access all folders including limited access folders. The only thing I can figure is that maybe User A has accidentally been given the Windows 10 admin account. Has anyone had user permissions give them this sort of issue?
What I use: TS-431P

Re: Limited User has Unlimited File access
Take the bull at the horns and look into it. Convinced the Texany can handle this...
From the Control Panel (use the >>> more link to get the full one) go to -> System Logs -> System Connection Logs. Use [Options] and tick SMB(Windows) and click [Apply], and finally enable the System Connection Logs by [Start Logging].
Now use the client and the user account in question, and access some folders and files - now you see if the admin account or the correct account is used to access.
Disable the System Connection Logs again by [Stop Logging].
