Hi
I hope someone can help me as I have been at this issue for a number of weeks.
I have a QNap TS-431+ firmware 4.3.3.0299
on Windows 10 (Vers 1703 OS Build 15063.608)
I can map QNAP drives. I can ping the QNap. Qfinder Pro finds the QNAp and I can login ok. but I cannot see the QNAP listed in the network section of file explorer. As My Cloud Backup software use the the newwork listing to access the drives (it does not see mapped drives) I can no longer back up any new files as I cannot see the drive in ther network listing.
Could someone please suggest a fix. the QNAP is on SMB 3.0
Many thanks
Steve

Re: Windows 10 cannot see QNAP in File Explorer Network Section
I have some extra information on my issue. I have 3 Windows 10 PCs all on the same network. I have found if I tunred them all off the first one to boot up will show the QNap in the files explorer but the other two dont. If again I turned them all off and say turn on PC 2, that did not show the Qnap it will again if first to boot but the others will not.
thanks
Steve

Re: Windows 10 cannot see QNAP in File Explorer Network Section
I had exactly the same problem after installing the v4.2.6 build 20170905 firmware on our TS-239 Pro. I got rid of that version and downgraded back to an older v4.2.5 build 20170413, which solved the issue. Maybe you can try downgrading as well? After having made a back up of course ...
