When copying files from Qnap to Windows Explorer, folder content is left out

Post by Pluto46 »

Hi,

After installing Windows 10, the latest version, yesterday, I been trying to copy the files and documents stored in my Qnap hard drives. I can access these files via 'network', 'Qnap' etc., in a Windows explorer environment. However, when I mark a few files and click 'copy' and then 'paste' somewhere else (an ssd in the computer for example), the folders are pasted, but without content. Since I've got literally thousands of folders, how do I get to transfer folders + content, without having to open every single folder in the Qnap hard drives and copying the contents one by one?

By the way, I can't get Qnap to work - there's something wrong with the DNS server apparently, and I haven't a clue what to do to get it to work.

Any suggestions appreciated!

best,
