QSYNC - Excel file 'not found' when opens

Post by dkolar41 »

Hy!
I'm using TS251A-2G for several months now in my office.

We have 5 PC-s and laptop in network, that sync files via qsync service locally, and every account sync it's own data that can be opened only by him.

Most things seems to be working fine, but one problem emerges every now and then:
Excel file is located on subfolder, that is synced via qsync.
If sync service is unavailable (laptop is off the office) and file is being modified, excel is stored on same folder with same name, but when sync service becomes available again - we cannot open that file by double-click!
Excel opens with message: C:\filename.xls' could not be found. Check the spelling of the file name, and verify that the file location is correct. If you are trying to open the file from your list of most recently used files on the File menu, make sure that the file has not been renamed, moved, or deleted.

File has normal green mark and is synced - but cannot be opened!!

Then you move file to desktop or any other folder and file can be opened normally.

How to deal with this situation?
