I want to thank you! I succeeded! I have installed on my computer at my home openVPN connect v3.
I previously:
created an profile - NAS22F06B.ovpn. loaded it on my computer at home
I see there is a certificate file - NAS22F06B.ca (I created this from QVPN on my NAS)
I can't load this file in openvpn connect v3 (on my home computer) The file extensions are different there
look at the picture. In the open VPN connect v3 the certificate has a different extension.
My NAS created NAS22F06B.ca

Re: QVPN TS-431P2
the *.ovpn file normally includes the keys and certificate(s), I have never used QVPN (for mentioned reasons) , if tQVPN somehow creates two files, you can join them together
Found this template online and compared it to a *.ovpn I had (there is online tools to join them, but uploading this info to the web, is a bad idea)

Re: QVPN TS-431P2
I understand that NAS22F06B.ovp is enough! It contains the certificate.
And is this connection reliable? Do I need better protection?

Re: QVPN TS-431P2
it's not so much the connection that is the issue, but the security of QVPN (see the link I posted where QVPN was attacked and used to hack NAS units)

Re: QVPN TS-431P2
Yes, I was quick to rejoice. I have a raspbery pi 4 somewhere. But it will be hard for me (I'm not strong in this area) to connect it to Qnap. I'll look up how to do it. A link if possible...?
