Cinder and OpenStack

Post by kankamuso »

Hi,

From this post:

https://www.qnap.com/en/news/2017/qnap- ... -snapshots

it is not clear to me if any QTS NAS from QNAP will be able to be used as a block storage through the Cinder driver. It shows a couple of recommended models, but the fact that they can run both QTS and QES makes it unclear to me.

In particular, I am planning to install the TVS-1271U-RP-i5 model from OpenStack. Can someone point me to useful documentation to find whether they are compatible and the compaatibility percentage?

Thanks in advance,

Jose

I believe only TES and ES supported and would email Qnap for more info.
