Qnap859 +esxi 6.5 +NFS3 -> high LAT/rd

Post by charlyd » Mon Feb 18, 2019 8:21 pm

hello i have a Qnap859 both gig ports are are configured like LACP. IEEE 802.3ad.
they both go to the Linksys SRW2024P switch where those ports from the Qnap are also trunked with LACP.

in my home lab i have 2 hosts.they both have 4x Gig port +1 gig onboard so i took 2 GIG-ports and created LACP on the VMware site.

what i do, i dont get the performance anymore to/from my Qnap859 with NFS3 ...like i had in het earlier days with ESXI5.5 (and 6.0)
( on my Qnap859 site nothing really changed through the years)

i monitored in my switch but no errors or dropped packadges found.. (

- do i need to adjust some parameters in VMware advanced settings?
- do i need to do anything on the Qnap site to get away from the latency…
- Can a switch ( linksys SRW2024P) get slow ???
Windows X64 - 2016 / ESXi 6.5 / Qnap 859 Pro / 8X4TB WD-RED
