SQL on Linux container issues

Post by Ziomal04 »

howdy y'all,

not sure this is the right thread, altough it treats about virtualization I have found none separate dealing with containers.

To the point:

I have 2 separate docker containers with SQL on linux official distribution (one is SQL 2019 CU 8, 2nd is 2019 CU 13 - the latest).

Immediately after deployment both containers start to throw the following error continuously (few times over a minute):

Code: Select all

Error: 17836, Severity: 20, State: 17.
2021-10-22 09:37:02.38 Logon Length specified in network packet payload did not match number of bytes read; the connection has been closed. Please contact the vendor of the client library. [CLIENT: 10.0.3.1]
mentioned client 10.0.3.1 is the default virtual switch created by Container Station for those containers.

Both containers are not exposed over internet and there is no active connection forced to those when the error occur.

What could trigger such alerts and how to resolve it?
