Virtual switch config error / unable to connect to qnap

Post by Borg »

Hi, for a stupid mistake during virtual switch config I lost the connectivity to the qnap (TS673). I lost the connection to lan5 (default gateway, qnap ip adress on a 10GB mellanox additional card), also other vm that uses lan 5 are inaccesible. The only thinghs thar are running well are pfsense wan on lan1and pfsense lan on lan 2. Lan 3-4 are not configured. I've tried to use qfiner on ports 2-3-4 without success. Is the any way to reset virtual switch ? Is the any way to reet qnap without lossing all data ? I tried also wireshark to see traffic passing but the only thing I see regarding qnap is the spanning three packet.

Please Help

Thanks in advance

a 3 second reset should disable the virtual switch and put all interfaces back to DHCP

Hi dolbyman,
With the 3 second reset, it is necessary to reconfigure all the share or the proceure just reset admin password and virtual switch ?

Thanks Alessanro
