Use the forum search feature before posting.
Use RAID and external backups. RAID will protect you from disk failure, keep your system running, and data accessible while the disk is replaced, and the RAID rebuilt. Backups will allow you to recover data that is lost or corrupted, or from system failure. One does not replace the other.

Not sure.... either they don't or they do but would rather continue to "discuss" the situation vs. adapt and move forward.Don wrote:Geez. Doesn't any bother to readTrexx wrote:VS changed the naming standards to no longer allow spaces. You can replace them with _'s

No, reading is for old-timers only. Haven't you noticed all the YouTube-videos some people litter the forum with? If you shout and make a fuzz in video for 10 minutes you get attention from the idiot-generation and then they will believe anything you say.Don wrote:Geez. Doesn't any bother to read
RAID have never ever been a replacement for backups. Without backups on a different system (preferably placed at another site), you will eventually lose data!
A non-RAID configuration (including RAID 0, which isn't really RAID) with a backup on a separate media protects your data far better than any RAID-volume without backup.
All data storage consists of both the primary storage and the backups. It's your money and your data, spend the storage budget wisely or pay with your data!

Re: Can't Select CD Image/ISO
Hello,
New user of a TS-1277 Firmware 4.3.4.0435
I have tried a few suggestions here and now have a CentOS ISO in \public\CentOS.iso to try and make it as simple as possible but still can't get the Okay when selecting the file.
Does anyone have any more suggestions that I could try ?
Thanks

What "Okay" and where do you expect it?Renbry wrote:...still can't get the Okay when selecting the file.
The "OK"-button in your screen-shot looks like it should be clickable. Isn't it?

Re: Can't Select CD Image/ISO
What browser are you using? There is a bug in the latest VS release with Safari where it won't register the OK. Switch to Chrome and it works fine.

Reluctantly installed chrome on an existing VM until this is fixed.

Re: Can't Select CD Image/ISO
How you renamed it I'm curious,It's almost hard, with its help :https://www.iseepassword.com/iso-editor.html ,it helped me to do that.Govnah wrote: I have renamed the ISO multiple times without any special characters and tried other ISO, same errors, any ideas?
