Attempting to in stall a new Win 10 VM, every time I select an ISO I get the following error:
Specify a name that does not contain the following characters...
I have renamed the ISO multiple times without any special characters and tried other ISO, same errors, any ideas?

my bet would be also on the full path name

I just tried building a Win 10 VM and got the same error message. The file name was "Win 10 pro.iso". The error message clearly states that the path and file name cannot contain whitespace. I copied the file to the public folder (no spaces) and removed the spaces from the file name (Win10pro.iso) and it worked fine.

Except !!! I do have also a TS-253A and in that system it still works fine.
Specifications:
TS-453A:
RAID 5 4x3 TB
Memory 16 GB
TS-253A:
RAID 0 2x3 TB
Memory 16 GB.
Both systems due have a virtual switch and I am also using a physical switch, with VLAN tagging etc.
Last but not least 2 physical firewalls : Check Point and Palo Alto
Everything worked fine, TILL the firmware upgrade...

Problem solved. An error occurs when the access path is in a subfolder. Moving image.iso to the Public folder resolves the issue.

It seems, since the update to Virtual Station 3 this issue has occurred. Also you can create backup jobs now unless you remove all your VM's and create a new Share (sharename without any spaces e.g. VirtualMachines/VM) and this import them back into VS3.

VS changed the naming standards to no longer allow spaces. You can replace them with _'s
