Bridging Virtual Switch?

Will someone please help me with the madness that is Qnap Virtulization? I'm trying to run a NextCloud VM (OVA from the NextCloud community). When I'm running a VM, it can't seem to get out the gateway and the virtual switch interface is just miserable. I'm an VMware administrator, but a novice on this Qnap.

I've got 2 NICs on my TS-453 patched, both directly into my router. The diagram just shows NIC 4 to the virtual switch where the VM is present and it appears to be set as the default gateway. It seems I've got connectivity but no DNS resolution....WHAT am I missing here?
