Installing Container Station offline ?

Post by lindy753 »

Hello,

I would like to install Container Station in order to use GitLab on my TS-EC2480U NAS like shown here : https://www.qnap.com/fr-fr/how-to/tutor ... er-station

However the NAS is not connected to the internet for security reasons.

Is it possible by any mean to install Container Station and Gitlab without direct internet connection ? Can't find any solution for the moment :(

Thanks.

You can manually download the container station QPKG and sneaker/usb/local LAN install it onto the NAS. You CAN import docker image files via SSH/CLI so that maybe a way to work around it assuming you have local LAN access to the box.

Those are the best options I can give you right now.

Thank you Trexx.

I managed to install the Container Station that I downloaded from https://www.qnap.com/fr-fr/app_center/ (I found the link after writting the post, sorry about that).

Do you know where I can download Qnap LXC/Docker images ?

Thanks !
