Fixed USB device <=> VM assignment possible?

Post by thomas12 »

Hello,

is it possible to keep the assignment of USB devices to VMs in Virtualization Station 3 over reboots?

I have tied a USB TV stick to a Linux VM running TVHeadend that shall work without user interaction after the NAS has restarted. The VM is launched automatically after some seconds with the "delay" option. But my assignment of USB devices to VMs does not persist over a reboot. Is there a way?

Regards

Maybe create a support ticket with QNAP and make this a feature request? It seems people have been wanting this for a number of years. ;)
