Hello guys,
I have just tried running android-x86_64-8.1-r1.iso and android-x86-8.1-r1.iso from the Android-x86.org Project, but system reboot or loops when creating a new user profile after logging in on Android.
I've tried using compatibility with Android-x86 4.4 in Virtualization Station, and using Linux generic modes. I've also tried using CPU with i7 or passthrough but nothing seems to work. It seems more like a difficulty on writing user home than QVM compatibility.
My objetive is to have an Android box to play on HDMI output (TV)
I have a TS251+ with 16GB ram.
Any tips please?
Thanks
Phk

Re: Android 8.1 x86_64
a couple of threads where users tried android

I will give it a try later .. but a 30bucks android machine might be better than a VM.. not sure how well the output via HDstation would work after
or run bluestacks on your windows machine

Ok, let me check those threads.
Meanwhile I've tried 4.4 ISO (which is the compatible option in V.S.) but this one doesn't boot into X.
The 30bucks machine goes against my mission to have only the router and the NAS in my TV room
