ESXi v4 compatibility question

Post by gopher_49 »

I'm about to purchase 2 x RP859 NAS appliances and I want to be sure that they're compatible with ESXi... I read that their compatible with ESX, however, I didn't see anything specifing whether their compatible with ESXi or not... I would assume it wouldn't matter.

I use a ts-659 with two esxi hosts and have not had any issues. I have done vmotion and vstorage as well.

thanks everyone.. Earlier today I stumbled on the virtualization page... I just wanted to double check before I purchase a few of the 8 bay units... I almost made the mistake of purchasing vRanger/vReplicator and found out right at the last second that vReplicator will not support ESXi until November.. I'll be using VEEAM to backup to an 8 bay unit and use VEEAM's replication to replicate to a 2 bay unit through my WAN...
