[Domain controller] Failed to create domain

Post by tonystark »

Hello,
I'm trying to create a domain on a brand new TS-451D2 with latest firmware 5.0.0.1891. I write the name "domain.local", set a new password and after a while I receive the error.
Only sometimes I have been able to activate it trying more and more.....and under the DNS folder it asked login and password??
What other things should I configure to get it running??? Is it a known problem? I'm not linux expert....

Connecting with putty client via SSH I found in file log.smbd this error, maybe it's related:

[2022/01/20 11:33:47.498541, 0] ../../source3/smbd/ksmbd_ioctl.c:152(ksmbd_ioctl_set_smb_direct)
ksmbd_ioctl_set_smb_direct: ksmbd: can't open device file: /dev/ksmbd_dev. Err num: 2.

I was able to create it....you must use a different name from the device itself, but then my PC won't join it with "Access Denied error"...i'm not expert of DC ..so i'm stuck there
