Domain Controller compatible device list

Post by marc_qc » Thu Mar 03, 2016 4:36 am

Hello everyone,

Is there an available list of the QNAP NAS devices capable of creating a Domain Controller ?

I would be great if I could enable one on my TS-219P.

Thank you.

I read the TS-251B spec. and it seems to be able to create a Domain Controller. It's a Home - High End model.

This unit was only released in August 2018, which was 2½ years after @dolbyman's advice.

Please don't revive old topics.

Debian 'Stretch' on my production NAS (TS-569 Pro), with the backup NAS (TS-559 Pro+) to eventually follow. When that happens, I'll no longer use or support any QNAP firmware. Debian powerup/poweroff times are < 1 minute.
